RUNNING TO FIND CURES FOR BLOOD CANCER
Most of you will never believe this but it's true.
I'm currently training to run the San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Marathon (26.2 miles) in June. Yes you read it right, it's not a typo. I'm really doing it and here's why.
Each day we all pass by friends, family, teachers, adults, children and strangers. We don't know what their lives are like and at times we think our lives are worse off. I know there have been many times I've thought that, and even though my family has gone thru some pretty ruff times, nothing in our life compaires to the those individuals whom are diagnosed with or lose their lives to leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, myeloma and other blood related cancers each day. A lot of people don't know that even Breast Cancer is a form of Blood Cancers.
A good friend convinced me to join Team In Training to help find raise money to find Blood Cures, but it wasn't until the other night listening to different people speak about the cause and hearing that every 4 minutes someone is diagnosed and every 10 minutes a life is lost that I really understood and knew why. This cause may not affect me directly but it does affect me. You never know what can happen in your life time and one day I might be told someone I know has been diagnosed and I'll want to do everything in my power to help them overcome it. This is how i can do it!!!!
I've started training in order to participate in one of many to come, endurance events as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training.
I will be completing the San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Marathon (26.2 miles) and future events in honor of all those individuals who are battling blood cancers.
All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.
on the right of our blogg it shows my fund-raising progress and links you to my webpage where you can donate safely online any amount you want and are able too.
I'll be posting updates on this blogg and on my webpage to show my progress and the gruling training ahead of me. I know this will hurt, I'll be exhausted and at times I'll probably want to give up, but i won't. This grueling training will be nothing compared to what those diagnosed individuals go thru in their life and I'm glad to be apart of a much larger community trying to help find cures.
Thanks for your support!

Sara - Cheer Jamz 2010
So here's the first video of Sara's partner stunting career this year.
Every January NCE competes at Cheer Jamz which is a local SD comp hosted by Cheer Force SD; only this year Sara got to show her stuff while partner stunting.
They did really good. They took 1st and the judges all said they were a strong partner stunt group and they enjoyed watching them.
The next comp they go to will have more difficulty in way of stunting so I'll be sure to post them as we go to them
catching up
so it's been awhile and i thought I'd update on how things are going.
Christmas was a good, New years was good. We spent time in the desert and it was much needed.
I've spent a lot of time in Riverside dealing with all things my brother.
Kaleb has started Gymnastics and he's doing great. He's only been in 2 months and is moving up to PRE-TEAM next month. He's super strong and this gets him to use his energy. We also just signed him up to play baseball again. so he's going to be pretty busy soon.
Sara started competing her first comp we took 2nd and the last comp they took 1st and also took 1st in partner stunting. They did amazing and this is definitely going to be a good year for the team.
Matt and I are doing well, he's working hard am I'm still a stay at home mom and would love a housekeeper.
